B&N Newsstand Murals
McGINTY developed the localized mural for Barnes & Noble newsstands, and rolled-out dozens of versions over the years.
Harvard COOP
At the heart of Harvard’s venerable COOP Bookstore, McGINTY created a focal point with three ten-by-forty foot murals that bracket the central stairs. McGINTY selected 64 items from the Harvard University Archive. These items include handwritten notes from the COOP’s origin, a turn-of-the-century COOP membership card, yearbook photos of five U.S. presidents who are alumni, and a view of the Harvard COOP from the 1920’s.
DePaul Rec. Center
In the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center at DePaul University in Chicago, McGINTY designed large, motivational wall graphics. Sleek images, type and bold colors enliven the spaces.
IUPUI Bookstore
At the corner of the newly constructed Campus Center in downtown Indianapolis, McGINTY designed a mural graphic program for the Barnes & Noble @ IUPUI Bookstore that captures the energy and sophistication of its urban setting. Dimensional panels stand away from the walls creating a multi-level graphic display celebrating IUPUI athletics, student life and the city of Indianapolis.
Texas Tech Bookstore
McGINTY designed a bold mural program for the Texas Tech Student Center's new bookstore. The unique character of Lubbuck, Texas was through images celebrating West Texas' music heritage, student life, and local landmarks.
